The rodeo started while fairly good light was available, but as the rodeo went on, the light began to dim and some field lights were used. It made the photography a bit challenging.
The Armada fair in the small town of Armada, Michigan included a rodeo on one of the days. A friend and I decided to go and see it. Since both of us are photographers, naturally we took our cameras. The rodeo started while fairly good light was available, but as the rodeo went on, the light began to dim and some field lights were used. It made the photography a bit challenging. The rodeo is about to start. Cowboys are filing in. The American flag is paraded around the field. Then the first bull rider gets his shot at fame and big money. Ouch - that was a tough ending to a wild ride! Calf roping and barrel racing events were next. Then it was back to bull riding to finish the night. The light was getting low at this point. The rodeo was fun to photograph.
