This house in the fog is not too far from where I live. We have some foggy mornings and our fair share of snow. But Michigan is a good place to live since we seem to have fewer natural storm disasters than many other places in the USA.
This is the Fort Gratiot lighthouse. It is also on the Detroit River which joins Lake Huron and Lake St. Clair.

The Sturgeon Point lighthouse is about 12 miles north of Oscoda, Michigan. One of the many Michigan lighthouses, this one shows a lot of character.

The Point Aux Barques lighthouse has a long and important history. It sits on the shore of Lake Huron on an area of Michigan known as the "thumb".

Tahquamenon Falls, located in the Upper Peninsula, is one of the most famous falls in Michigan. This is the upper falls.

The Munising Falls is located near Munising, Michigan. It is not a really large falls, but it certainly has its charms. The setting is beautiful.

This water fall was much weaker when I visited. It is often 10 to 15 feet wide in the Spring after Winter melt. It is found along the pictured rocks of the National Seashore.
